May Madness?

Here’s some process of how I’ve been doing these Microsoft Illustrations.  I typically start out with a loose pencil sketch to get some concepts in place to discuss.  After we receive feedback, we execute on one or more of the sketches.  In the case of this March Madness illustration, we executed on three.  One of the three is then published.

Advertising Pencil Sketch Concepts

Here’s some sketches that I’ve been doing for a few months now.  I’ve been fortunate enough to concept some in-store marketing for some major brands.  I’ve had a blast coming up with some interesting standees to get people’s attention.

Movie Markups

I Thought this poster on Kenneth Branagh’s interpretation of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing deserved a little extra attention.
